Silent Book Club in the Park

Looking to meet new people and connect over a love of reading? Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable Silent Book Club at Freedom Park! Whether you’re new to Charlotte or just looking to make new friends, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind, read, and chat with others who share your passion for books.

Event Highlights

• Reading: We’ll kick off the event with an hour or so of peaceful reading in a shaded area of the park.

• Mix and Mingle: After our reading time, we’ll have a chance to meet and chat about what everyone’s reading. Share your latest book finds or discover new titles!

• Keep the Conversation Going: After the event, join us at a nearby spot (within 1-2 miles of the park) to grab a bite to eat and continue connecting.

What to Bring

• A blanket or chair to sit on—comfortable seating is key!

• Your current book or e-reader for an hour of reading in the park.

We’ll choose a spot within the park with shade and seating options to keep everyone comfortable. As we get closer to the event date, we’ll send more details about the exact location in Freedom Park.
